Sleep & a busy mind
Hypnotherapy for restful sleep
Tired all day, wide awake at 3am. Hypnotherapy can help your mind learn how to let go at night.

Hypnotherapy can help with poor sleep by calming the mental and emotional arousal that keeps you awake, such as worry, a racing mind or a body that won't switch off. I teach your subconscious a new bedtime response and give you techniques to use at night. Sessions are in Forest Row or online.
Does this sound familiar?
- Lying awake with your mind racing
- Waking in the early hours and not getting back to sleep
- Dreading bedtime because you expect a bad night
- Waking up tired however long you've slept
- Sleep that changed with stress, grief or menopause
How I can help
For many people poor sleep isn't about the body. It's a mind that has learned bed is the place to worry. The more you try to sleep, the more alert you become.
Hypnosis is a natural rehearsal for letting go. We work on whatever is keeping your mind busy, then teach your subconscious to associate bedtime with calm. You'll also learn a short self-hypnosis technique to use at night.
What can change
Falling asleep more easily
Settling again if you wake
Feeling rested and clearer in the day
No longer dreading bedtime
Ruth helped me feel calm, safe and in control throughout the whole process. I noticed a massive positive difference after my first session. These changes then continued and were enhanced with each visit.
