Confidence, self-esteem & the inner critic

Hypnotherapy for confidence and self-belief

You know you're capable. So why does a voice inside keep talking you out of what you want?

Low confidence is usually driven by old beliefs such as 'I'm not good enough' that formed long ago. With hypnotherapy I help you find those beliefs and replace them with ones that are true now, so confidence comes naturally rather than through effort.

Does this sound familiar?

  • Feeling like a fraud despite your achievements
  • Undercharging, over-preparing or not speaking up
  • Comparing yourself to others and coming up short
  • People-pleasing at your own expense
  • Putting off things that matter because you might fail

How I can help

Confidence isn't something you lack. It's something that got buried under beliefs you picked up along the way, often in childhood, from a teacher, a parent, or a moment of embarrassment that stuck.

Together we find those beliefs, see where they came from, and replace them with ones that reflect who you are now. One client shed her fear of charging her true worth by reframing a belief rooted in childhood. Now she sets her prices confidently and her business is thriving.

What can change

  • Backing your own decisions

  • Speaking up in meetings, at home and with friends

  • Owning your successes instead of explaining them away

  • Saying yes to opportunities you used to avoid

In the longer term I can feel my confidence growing and am building a belief that this is absolutely my life to shape in whichever way I choose and all is possible. An invaluable life lesson that I shall be eternally grateful to Ruth for helping to bring to the surface.

Questions people ask

Can hypnotherapy improve confidence?

Yes, it's one of the most common reasons people come to me. Hypnotherapy works on the subconscious beliefs behind self-doubt, so new confidence tends to feel natural rather than forced.

Do you help with imposter syndrome?

Yes. Imposter feelings are very common in capable, high-achieving people. We work on the underlying belief that you're not good enough, so you can own what you've achieved.
